Yes — to save your progress, manage your surprises, and track your PartyCoins balance, you'll need to create a verified account. The process takes under a minute.

PartyCoins are the in-app currency used to create and publish birthday surprises. You purchase them in packs and spend them when you send a surprise link. Unused PartyCoins are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase.

Surprise links created with the Starter pack are active for 30 days. Pro pack links remain active for 90 days. After expiration, the recipient will see a friendly message that the surprise has ended.

Yes! You can try the full experience using the Demo mode linked from the homepage — no account or payment required. Demo links are watermarked and can't be shared, but you'll get a complete feel for what your recipient will experience.

BdaySurprise works in any modern browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge. It's fully responsive for mobile, tablet, and desktop. No app download required.

Absolutely. All payments are handled by Stripe — we never store your card details. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified, the highest level of payment security certification.

Yes — the link stays active until it expires, so they can revisit as many times as they like. Gift selection is locked after the first claim, but they can re-watch the candles, balloons, and final message any time.

No problem. If mic access is denied, the candle-blowing interaction automatically switches to a swipe/tap mode. The experience is just as fun — we just use a slightly different interaction.

Unused PartyCoins are fully refundable within 14 days. Once coins have been spent on a published surprise, they're non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for full details.
